We’re bombarded, tangled and forget to take deep breaths. Things can be very confusing and we may see interwoven layers that seem to impede our progress. The colors I chose to use are representative of the beauty of challenges. Challenges are an opportunity for growth. I’ve also found that there is always a light of hope to see me through those difficult times.
Take Flight I created Take Flight to represent the moment of breaking away into a new beginning. I wanted to show that we can rise from the darkness into a brilliant new light. It’s a birth & a celebration. We can spread our wings & rise like a bird. We don’t have to be held back. If we dream it; if we believe it; if we try…we can lift ourselves up.	A little about me: *I was born in Delaware in 1970. During my first visit to Alaska in 1996, I quickly realized I didn't want to leave; so I stayed.* *Currently I live in the amazing village of Talkeetna, Alaska. The overwhelming amount of talent and creativity there is inspiring.* **In 2006, I discovered my ability to paint while altering digital photographs in Photoshop.
